Schools Bundle 2
Schools Bundle 2 provided of six new schools which provide places for over 4,700 pupils. As Access Consultants, O’Herlihy Access Consultancy (OHAC) ensured all schools were fully accessible in accordance with the National Development Finance Agency brief. As part of the project, OHAC’s duties included:
- Attendance at design team meetings;
- Preparation of Disability Access Certificate applications in line with best practice standards including BS8300:2009;
- Preparation of Revised Disability Access Certificate applications for a number of the schools following signigicant revisions in the design of a number of schools; and
- Provision of access consultancy services and advice on an on-going basis.
