Limerick County Council
O’Herlihy Access Consultancy was engaged by Limerick County Council in July 2008 and provided the following services:
- Carried out a detailed accessibility services review to assess compliance with national legislation and international best practice in relation to accessible service delivery.
- Development of a detailed action/implementation plan in line with the requirements of the Disability Act 2005.
- Facilitated the Council to carry out user testing of their website.
- Facilitated a number of workshops with the Disability Act Steering Group.
- Provision of staff training in the area of access to the built environment.
- Provided guidance and support to a number of staff to ensure accessibility was implemented within the organisation.
