We work across all industries & sectors

Our Story

The story behind our vision is based on the lived experience of disability of a close family member of our founder Eoin O’ Herlihy.  Driven by a need to address the many challenges faced by people with disabilities to participate fully in society, Eoin set up OHAC in 2007. Since then, the Company has grown into Ireland’s leading consultancy in Universal Design, Accessibility, Disability Inclusion and specialist Accessibility Training.

OHAC

We work in partnership with clients to ensure their built environment, facilities, services, workplace and information provision meet the needs of all and are in compliance with relevant legislation in Ireland and internationally.  By adopting principles of Universal Design, we assist our clients to achieve best in class standards, meeting both their present and future requirements. We work closely with our clients and with their stakeholders in the co-design of solutions. This collaboration continues throughout the lifecycle of each project.

Services & Training

O’Herlihy Access Consultancy is the only full-service practice to offer end-to-end Universal Design solutions for clients.

Very informative training course regarding legislation which must be considered and also regarding design requirements that would not come to mind. Links to information were excellent. Very important to have this to hand and have provision for staff to read. Having all of the relevant links is a great addition.
