Disability Statistics Factsheet published by the National Disability Authority

The lives of people with disabilities in Ireland will be examined in a series of factsheets developed by the NDA. The first factsheet of the series (published in October 2018) examines the number of people with a disability and some of their characteristics.  The information in the first factsheet was retrieved from the 2016 Census and from work which was undertaken by researchers in the National Disability Authority.
The factsheet entitled ‘NDA Factsheet 1: Disability Statistics’ examines these different aspects under the following headings:
