Tyler Phillips

Accessibility Advisor

Tyler is a Part M Ancillary Certifier & Construction Technical Lead. His role involves seeing projects through the tender and construction phases to completion and sign off. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering with Architecture from University College Dublin. Prior to joining OHAC, he worked as a structural engineer in the construction industry.

Tyler has completed accredited training in accessibility and Universal Design enhancing his expertise in the field. He has worked on projects at both design and construction stages to ensure compliance and advise on how to incorporate Universal Design. He provides ancillary consultancy services for the DAC and RDAC application process and has worked on a range of projects including, large scale residential developments, offices, schools and healthcare facilities. As a Part M Ancillary Certifier, he has inspected and signed off on a variety of projects throughout Ireland. He has also carried out access audits of existing buildings across Europe to assess their accessibility and provide recommendations.

Tyler is a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland and a Member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).
