Robert is the longest serving member of the OHAC team, and since joining the company has been awarded a post graduate diploma in Accessibility and Inclusive Design from the University of Salford and has completed accredited training in Accessibility & Universal Design.
Robert has successfully managed many projects ranging from Disability Access Certificate applications, Housing Needs Reports and a range of access audits.
He understands the needs of a range of users, can carry out design appraisals for new buildings and alterations and can identify barriers to accessibility by physical inspection, and from drawings and specifications.
His experience spans across several sectors, including residential, hospitality, commercial and mixed-use developments, student accommodation and public buildings.
Roberts’ experience as an Architectural Technician also enables him to appreciate the aesthetic aspirations and technical constraints faced by design teams and clients and the ability to take these into account when recommending solutions.
