Kate Essex was awarded a BSc in Architectural Technology from the Technological University of Dublin (TUD formerly DIT). Since graduation, she has been continuously expanding her knowledge and experience in Construction, BIM and more recently, accessibility.
Kate’s portfolio includes a diverse range of clients and projects. She has been part of design teams and contractors using her skills in BIM to assist in managing projects through all stages of the construction process. She has worked on projects across Ireland, including, residential, educational, retail, mixed-use development, modular design, and airports.
Since joining OHAC in 2023, she has worked as a Site Inspector on a wide variety of projects including offices, hotels, retail, commercial, and mixed-use developments. She has collaborated with many design teams and clients.
