Geoffrey joined OHAC in 2026 as a Site Inspector and Accessibility Advisor. He obtained a National Diploma in Architectural Technology from Waterford Technology in 1999. Over the years, he has gained valuable and extensive experience and expertise in many areas of architecture including residential, commercial, healthcare, sport and blue-chip technology. Many of these projects have involved Geoffrey from the early design stage to practical completion. While working as a Senior Architectural Technician, he developed a personal interest in the areas of Accessibility and Universal Design; undertaking the role as a Part M ‘lead’ in many his latter places of work.
Within OHAC, Geoffrey project manages varying construction and fitout projects from an Accessibility point of view, as well as ensuring that Part M of the Irish Building Regulations and relevant standards are being translated in the built environment. This often involves communicating with the contractor and design in a clear and transparent manner.
His extensive site experience and attention to detail has enabled him to be a valued new addition to the Construction Team.
