Esteban is a Senior Access Consultant and Trainer with OHAC. Before joining OHAC, Esteban worked for many years in accessibility in Mexico. He holds a bachelor’ degree in Architecture from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). While in Mexico, he worked to ensure buildings, public spaces and transport were accessible. He helped develop accessibility and inclusion strategies for the National and Local Governments in Mexico. He has delivered training sessions on accessibility, inclusion, and Universal Design to a range of audiences including lectures at top universities in Mexico.
Since joining OHAC, Esteban has worked on consultancy projects involving international and Irish standards in accessibility. He is also involved in standardisation committees, including the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) and the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN).
