Eoin O’Herlihy

Managing Director

Eoin is the Managing Director and founder of OHAC. He is known for his sustained commitment to and leadership in accessibility, inclusion and Universal Design. Eoin’s lived experience of loved ones with disabilities is his driving force. He prides himself on building a team equally invested in making the world more inclusive and accessible.

Eoin has a Bachelor of Technology in Education Degree and a Master of Engineering degree. He was one of six level three Certified Professionals in Accessible Built Environment experts worldwide and is a member of Engineers Ireland and of the Irish Ergonomic Society.

Eoin has an extensive client portfolio and breadth of experience in accessibility and universal design. He has worked with small local community disability organisations, large multinationals, top-tier construction companies, architectural firms, legal firms, government bodies and international governmental and regulatory organisations.

Select career highlights include: representing Irish Disability Organisations on the Irish Government’s Disability Matters Committee, advising the Disability Federation of Ireland on promoting accessibility and Universal Design within government bodies, supporting the development of the IAAP’s Built Environment Certification programme and assessment toolkit and advising global pharmacy and retail brands.
