Aila is an Architect and Urban Planner with over ten years of experience in Architecture and Project Management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture and Urbanism from Faculdade Brasileira – UNIVIX, Brazil, and an MBA in Project Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Brazil.
Passionate about design, she has a proven ability to manage projects from conception to construction. In 2024, Aila joined O’Herlihy Access Consultancy as an Accessibility Advisor, focusing on compliance with accessibility regulations (TGD M 2022) and Universal Design principles across various sectors, including housing, healthcare, and commercial projects.
Her career experience spans Europe, including working on residential projects in Greece and contributing to large-scale commercial developments in Ireland. She has expertise in design compliance and technical documentation, ensuring accessibility standards are met throughout the design process.
