St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin 4O’Herlihy Access Consultancy (OHAC) was engaged by John Keogan Architects in 2010 as access consultants to prepare the Disability Access Certificate application for the construction of a new ward building at St Vincent‘s University Hospital. The building comprises of ward bedrooms (120) and ancillary staff and patient areas over seven storeys (9,360 sq m) with a small ancillary area at basement (610 sq m). The new building is linked to the existing hospital at ground and basement via an existing corridor.

OHAC was responsible for advising the design team on access issues, preparing the Disability Access Certificate application and Revised Disability Access Certificate application, as well as reviewing detailed access queries.
