Train the Trainer
O’Herlihy Access Consultancy in conjunction with Executive Coaching Solutions have developed a four day FETAC accredited day Train the Trainer course to assist organisations achieve this goal. As highlighted in the last newsletter, in these recessionary times and with training budgets being cut significantly, it can be difficult to raise awareness amongst staff of the legal, social and business benefits of disability equality. Yet, face to face and interpersonal communication is essential to facilitate the attitudinal shift required for this type of training. An innovative yet cost effective approach is to build internal capacity and up-skill existing staff with the skills required to deliver induction or refresher introductory training in-house.
