Every customer counts promoting accessible services

The Equality Commission in Northern Ireland has developed the "Every Customer Counts" initiative to support Northern Ireland traders seeking to promote accessible services. The goal of the Commission is to encourage business men and women to take a moment to use their free self-assessment tool and consider how open their services currently are to disabled people.

They have also developed a range of guidelines in October 2014 entitled:

The guidelines are a useful resource for all those who want to improve their accessibility and welcome all of their customers including people with disabilities.  The guidelines also provide owners of businesses with tips and ways to improve accessibility.
